Meon Valley MP Flick Drummond has announced the winner of her annual Christmas card competition and the design will be on display in Downing Street.
Tilly Harris-Pritt aged nine from Queens Inclosure Primary School won with a brilliant design of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben in a Santa hat and scarf.
The theme this year was Christmas in Parliament.
Tilly’s work will be sent to people across the country and abroad including to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He received his by hand from Flick this morning.
Runners up were Cruz Moret aged 11 also from Queens Inclosure School and Daisy Wilson also 11 from Padnell Junior School. Their designs are on the back of the card this year.
Tilly wins a £20 book voucher and the runners up each receive a £10 voucher. All three will have their names on the card too.
“Many congratulations to Tilly for her wonderful design – it was the worthy winner in a strong field,” said Flick.
“And well done to Cruz and Daisy for their excellent artwork too. The entries this year were fantastic and I would like to thank all the schools who took part.
“I am proud to be sending this card out to the great and the good this year. The PM was very impressed with the card.
“I am sure everyone who receives it will be just as impressed.”
Flick has produced the card at her own expense. It was printed by ADP printers of Waterlooville
