Today I asked the Secretary of State for Defence, Rt Hon Ben Wallace, on Putin's forces in Ukraine and if we know whether Russia will deploy these more modern additional forces. I was limited to only one question, but my other question was about the humanitarian crisis in Mariupol about those who have had no water or food since March 2nd which I consider a crime against humanity. That was before the attack on the maternity hospital which is definitely a war crime. When I was in the Intelligence Corps TA, it was during the cold war and my job was to look at the Russian military capability so I decided to concentrate on a defence question. Russia has not used its full capability in Ukraine and I hope that President Putin thinks long and hard before doing so.
