So exciting to see the new plans and be at the start of the building of QA’s new Emergency Department a couple of weeks ago. It will take a couple of years to build but will be a huge improvement on the exiting Emergency Department and will be able to work more efficiently to see and get patients to the right place quickly. Really looking forward to seeing this building going up fast. We all need to know that when we need emergency care, it is there for us so I am pleased that we are about to invest £1bn in more hospital beds and 800 more ambulances.
