On the 8th September, I spoke in a General debate on the Future of Coastal Communities. Although I no longer represent a coastal community, my constituency borders them and many of my constituents work in them so are reliant on their prosperity in all areas. I was pleased to take time to address the key barriers coastal communities face in this debate, focusing on transport and digital connectivity that need to be addressed by the Government. I look forward to seeing any future policies that help coastal communities tackle these issues.
