Yesterday in the statement on the Global Combat Air Programme, I asked the Secretary of State for Transport, the Rt Hon Grant Shapps, to pledge his support to keep up the work of the armed forces in their support for technical education in our schools and colleges, which is critical to making these projects a big success.
