Today I spoke in the Westminster Hall Debate on Veterans UK as we mark Armed Forces Week. I urge the Minister and Veterans UK to work closely with VAPCs who have plenty of knowledge and experience amongst their members, to work towards a more streamline system which is veteran centric.
I would like to thank our serving military and veterans for all that you do. Many of us here have done the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme with all the knowledge that brings, and we hear at first hand the issues that affect you. We will continue to champion you both in the Chamber and behind the scenes to make sure you get what you need.
