After a busy week in Westminster, it was great to be in Waterlooville to visit the Horizon Leisure Centre and hear of their new plans including an outreach officer who will be encouraging people to get fit. I then had a barbecue lunch at the Men’s Shed where I saw some amazing work including this box with dovetail corners. Men’s Sheds are fantastic for combatting loneliness as well as making things. Any tools that are donated and not needed are sent to Africa. I then met one of the employees of the new owners of Wellington Way and heard about their plans to refurbish the shops there. There should be some progress soon. Lastly, I held a surgery to help constituents. Please let me know if you need help although we do most of our work through emails and phone calls, occasionally it is nice to meet people in person to discuss issues. #lovemyjob
