This week we also welcomed the Afghan Women & Girls Development Football Team to Parliament! 
They had a packed morning having played (and won!) against the UK Women's Parliamentary Football Club, followed by a tour around Parliament. We then got to hear from Amnesty International and their coach about their journey here.
This event was the launch of Amnesty International's yearly celebration of the contribution players with a refugee background to the beautiful game, and the positive role football can play in bringing people together and creating more welcoming communities.
