Flick Drummond and Penny Mordaunt launched their General Election campaign today at Southsea Castle with the message that Portsmouth North and South voters have a great choice on June 8 of a strong stable government, led by Theresa May.
They both pledged to make sure that they focus on what Portsmouth needs: a strong economy, better education and job opportunities and a plan to tackle homelessness and mental health issues.
It was great to have so many supporters in the heart of the city, but there can be no room for complacency in this General Election - every vote is vital and the argument must be won. Flick will be on the streets and on the doorsteps over the coming weeks making sure our positive message heard.
