Portsmouth MPs Flick Drummond and Penny Mordaunt joined forces with TV’s Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson yesterday to help launch Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal for 2016.
Every year, thousands of people across the country join together to raise money for Marie Curie nurses by seeking donations, encouraging people to collect locally, or holding fundraising events.
The appeal is taking place throughout March to raise money for the nurses who expertly support people living with terminal illnesses and their families across the UK.
“Marie Curie nurses do a tremendous job helping those at the end of their lives and I hope that many people will become involved in the campaign over the next month,” said Flick.
