Today the Home Secretary is launching a review of all forms of serious and organised crime to help to keep our streets safe. Flick welcomes this review,

‘Serious and organised crime targets the most vulnerable in our society, ruining lives and blighting communities. This threat is growing, and offenders are becoming more sophisticated. This review will identify ways of bolstering the response to threats such as county lines, people trafficking, drugs, child sexual exploitation, fraud and illicit finance.

We are committed to tackling crime and keeping our streets safe, and by getting Brexit done we can focus on the people’s priorities – delivering 20,000 more police on our streets to protect the public and bring criminals to justice. There will be an extra 156 police officers recruited in Hampshire in 2020 and more in subsequent years’
