Meon Valley MP Flick Drummond to urging local charities and organisations to apply for grant funding from the People’s Lottery.

Cash is available from now until 4th Februaryfrom the People’s Postcode Trust, which promotes human rights and combats poverty and discrimination, the Postcode Community Trust that aims to improve community health and the Postcode Local Trust designed to help groups dedicated to improving and increasing outdoor space.

Registered charities can apply for between £500 and £20,000 while the limit for not-for-profit organisations without charitable status is £2,000.

“These grants could make a big difference to people in the Moen Valley and I hope charities and not-for-profit organisations start looking right now to see if they’re eligible for the money,” said Flick.

More information on how to apply is available here: www.postcodelottery.info/about-us/public-affairs/local-funding-opportunities.
