Here is some information about the scientific evidence that is supporting the Government's response. It is a fast moving situation so please take all the advice that is coming from Government and the medical experts seriously. We need to keep people safe so you must follow the guidelines about self-distancing and avoiding pubs, cafes where people congregate if we want to prevent everyone getting this and overwhelming the NHS. The time for supporting pubs etc will be after the crisis is over and the Government has put in financial support measures to keep businesses afloat.
