Here is the information for people who were going to do public exams. I know that this must be very frustrating for all of you that have worked so hard for these exams but there will be an opportunity to take them later in the year if you want to. Universities will be flexible and I hope that sixth form colleges and sixth forms will let you take an exam later on in the year if you want to.
Can I ask all young people to self-distance themselves for some time until we can get the virus under control. We don't want to have a shortage of intensive care beds because people have not heeded the advice and carried on meeting with their friends. This is the only way we can stop the spread so use the time to catch up on books, You Tube, Netflix etc or learn a new skill at home. If we do this, we can all enjoy the summer.
