I want to thank all of you for staying at home over the last few weeks, keeping safe and protecting our NHS.
I particularly want to thank all those front line workers, working in the NHS, careworkers working in other people's homes and also in nursing homes, and of course the police, all of whom are keeping us safe and well. We need to continue following government guidelines over this weekend, which I know will be difficult as many of us like to see our friends and family, but we need to protect our NHS and make sure our friends and family are safe at the same time.
