Israel is a close friend and ally of the UK, but it is precisely for this reason that we hold her to a high standard. Some actions of the Israeli Government, such as encouraging illegal settlements and threatening annexation of Palestinian territories, are wrong and contrary to international law.

20/01/2021 - We need to make sure pubs are treated fairly and I believe they should be able to sell alcohol to takeaway. Supermarkets are able to do this so pubs should be able to as well.
20/01/2021 - I did not support any of the amendments to the Trade Bill, as I did not feel they were necessary additions to the Bill. As members of the EU we were party to around 40 trade deals with more than 70 countries.

07/01/2021 - I have read the Treaty negotiated with the EU and voted for it earlier this week. I supported it because it will protect our trading relationship with the EU while also allowing us to strike deals with the rest of the world.
