Flick goes to Upham Fete

Cllr Hugh Lumby and myself went to Upham Fete today. A great idea to have different tables around the village. Both Hugh and I were successful at this tombola, we each won cava to celebrate the win tomorrow Hope a lot of money has been raised for Upham’s Church of the Blessed Mary.

Flick visits Keydell Nurseries

Found this gem of a cafe at Keydell Nursery in Horndean today. Set up by Andy Wilson and Wayne Morris in October 2020 in the midst of a pandemic, it is certainly worth visiting - they do breakfasts, lunch and tea, cakes look amazing.

Weekly Update 2nd July

This week I spent three days in Westminster and two days visiting organisations and people in the constituency. It has been good to get out and listen to people as well as the usual work in Parliament.

Flick wants to hear your thoughts on a Longer School Day

I am keen to hear your thoughts on the possible introduction of a longer school day. Children have missed out on so much in the past year and this could perhaps be a way to help their education in the long run and for future children's education. Let me know what you think!

Flick visits Basepoint Offices and Deep Blue

Big thank you to Helen Wright for showing us around Basepoint offices and industrial units in Waterlooville today. What a great set up for small businesses and I hope to be using the meeting room at some point.

Weekly Update- 25th June

This week has been busy as usual! I have been in London for most the week taking part in a strategy and war gaming exercise on my course with the Royal College of Defence Studies in between duties in the House and meetings on zoom.
