Today I spoke on a UQ on the Women's Health Strategy and asked Health Secretary, Steve Barclay, to make sure that there is more training in primary care settings to recognise and help vulnerable women affected by domestic abuse.
Today I spoke in the Westminster Hall Debate which was based around the E-Petition on cutting BTEC funding. I wanted to speak as I have been contacted by many constituents concerned about this.
Since I have been elected in 2019, it has been a whirl of events that have been outside of the usual remit of introducing, scrutinising and changing legislation – the main job of an MP.
With hot weather continuing into next week across parts of the UK, including in Meon Valley, it is important to know the difference between heat stroke and heat exhaustion.

After a busy week in Westminster, it was great to be in Waterlooville to visit the Horizon Leisure Centre and hear of their new plans including an outreach officer who will be encouraging people to get fit.
