Wonderful to meet students from Epsom College at ADS group's ROC reception today. UK ROC is a one of a kind and a great hands-on learning opportunity for 11-18 yr olds.
UK ROC involves the design, build, and launch of a model rocket, with the payload of two raw eggs representing the astronauts.
The news today is dominated by Russia’s invasion into Ukraine. In Parliament yesterday I asked the Prime Minister what we can do to reassure our friends elsewhere in Eastern Europe where there are Russian minorities whom Putin may try to use as a pretext for further aggression.

Today I attended Speed Up Britain’s drop in! As a rural constituency Meon Valley has had many issues with connectivity and the demand is only increased following the pandemic. Speed Up Britain are calling for more funding for infrastructure to help us all be as connected as possible.
I am very pleased with this sensible and proportionate approach to the end of covid restrictions that will allow the majority to get on with their lives while protecting the vulnerable.
